ANTALYA, Friday, April 17, 2026 (WNP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a series of informal meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Antalya on Friday.

During the engagements, the Prime Minister met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa.

He also held meetings with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, as well as former President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani.

According to official sources, the interactions were held in a cordial atmosphere, with discussions focusing on the evolving global situation and key regional developments.

The engagements provided an opportunity for the Prime Minister to exchange views with international counterparts and reinforce Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach at the multilateral forum.
