ISLAMABAD, Saturday, May 9, 2026 (WNP): President of Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday felicitated President of Vladimir Putin and the people of Russia on Victory Day, paying tribute to the sacrifices made in the fight against fascism.

In his message, President Zardari acknowledged the contribution and sacrifices of those who fought during the Second World War and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening friendship and cooperation with Russia.

The president also expressed Pakistan’s desire to further enhance bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
