PM Shehbaz reaffirms Pakistan’s reform agenda, investment drive at Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh

RIYADH, Wednesday, October 29, 2025 (WNP): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to advancing economic reform, innovation, and global partnerships during his participation in the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh.

Addressing global business leaders, investors, and policymakers, the Prime Minister underscored Pakistan’s resolve to deepen engagement with the Forum’s worldwide business and innovation network. He highlighted the government’s ongoing structural economic reforms focused on achieving macroeconomic stability, ensuring fiscal discipline, attracting investment, and driving digital transformation.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that Pakistan’s economic vision centers on export-led growth, robust public-private partnerships, and harnessing the potential of the country’s youthful workforce and expanding IT sector.

The Prime Minister also welcomed the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) partnership on building resilient food systems, describing it as a vital initiative for strengthening Pakistan’s agrarian economy and enhancing food security through sustainable practices and innovation.

The FII, known as the “Davos of the Desert,” serves as a key platform for high-level discussions on global investment trends, innovation, and economic cooperation.
