RIYADH, Saturday, April 11, 2026 (WNP): The Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia on Saturday announced the arrival of a military contingent from Pakistan at the King Abdulaziz Air Base in the Kingdom’s Eastern Sector, under the Joint Strategic Defense Agreement between the two brotherly nations.
According to the statement, the deployed Pakistani force comprises fighter jets and support aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force, aimed at strengthening joint military coordination and enhancing operational readiness between the armed forces of both countries.
The deployment is part of ongoing efforts to deepen defence cooperation and reflects the close strategic partnership between Islamabad and Riyadh.
The Saudi Ministry of Defense noted that the initiative also seeks to contribute to regional and international security and stability, amid evolving geopolitical challenges.
The move underscores the longstanding military collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with both sides continuing to expand cooperation across defence and security domains.
