Pakistan, Türkiye reaffirm strategic partnership, stress peace efforts in Middle East

ISLAMABAD, Friday, May 1, 2026 (WNP): Ambassador of Türkiye to Pakistan, Irfan Neziroğlu, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, where both sides discussed regional developments and bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed the appreciation of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to promote peace and stability in the Middle East.

The Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing lasting peace in the region through dialogue and diplomatic engagement.

Appreciating the close coordination and regular high-level exchanges between the two countries, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to further deepen its strategic partnership with Türkiye.

The meeting underscored the strong and longstanding ties between Pakistan and Türkiye, as well as their shared commitment to regional peace and stability.
