ISLAMABAD, Monday, July 21, 2025 (WNP): Chief of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Ghuraybi, called on Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Monday to reaffirm the deep-rooted military partnership between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and explore ways to expand bilateral defence cooperation.

The meeting underscored the historic and brotherly ties between the two nations, built on shared values, mutual trust, and decades of strategic collaboration.

Defence Minister Asif praised the enduring strategic relationship between the armed forces of both countries and stressed the importance of enhancing interoperability through joint naval exercises, professional training exchanges, and regular high-level defence dialogue.

“Pakistan deeply values its defence partnership with Saudi Arabia,” said Asif. “Strengthening our naval cooperation is critical to ensuring regional peace and prosperity.”

Vice Admiral Al Ghuraybi echoed the sentiment, reaffirming the Kingdom’s commitment to expanding military collaboration with Pakistan and highlighting the shared vision for development and stability.

The meeting concluded with a mutual pledge to deepen institutional defence linkages, promote peaceful maritime engagement, and uphold the historic, time-tested bond between the two brotherly nations.
