ISA KHEL, Monday, February 2, 2026 (WNP): The Pakistan Navy on Monday laid to rest Muhammad Shahzaib Shaheed, Marine Guard Trooper–I (MGT-I), with full military honours in his native village of Isa Khel, District Mianwali, as the nation paid tribute to his bravery and supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.

Muhammad Shahzaib embraced martyrdom while performing security duties at the entry gate of the Pasni Marine Base, where he confronted an attack launched by India-backed terrorists of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

According to official accounts, Shahzaib courageously engaged the attackers at close quarters, holding off eight terrorists and preventing them from breaching the sensitive naval installation.

The Pakistan Navy reiterated its resolve to defend the country’s maritime frontiers and strategic installations against all threats, reaffirming that the sacrifices of its martyrs will never be forgotten.
