RABAT, Tuesday, April 21, 2026 (WNP): Pakistan and Morocco have entered a new phase in their defence partnership, moving toward strategic co-production following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on January 13, 2026, according to International Defence Analysis.

The agreement aims to institutionalize long-term military cooperation while expanding collaboration into joint production, particularly in advanced sectors such as electronics and optronics.

Defence analysts view the development as a significant shift from traditional bilateral engagement toward deeper industrial cooperation, enabling both countries to enhance indigenous capabilities and reduce reliance on external suppliers.

The initiative is also expected to position Pakistan and Morocco more competitively within the global defence supply chain, as both sides seek to leverage technological collaboration and shared expertise.
