RIYADH, Tuesday, October 28, 2025 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar on Tuesday inaugurated the upgraded Consular Hall and One-Window Machine Readable Passport (MRP) Services at the Embassy of Pakistan in Riyadh, marking a major step toward improved public service delivery for overseas Pakistanis in the Kingdom.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Deputy Prime Minister said the initiative reflects the government’s strong commitment to enhancing community facilitation and ensuring that consular services are efficient, accessible, and citizen-friendly.

He said the upgraded facility would make public service delivery more streamlined and respectful of the needs of the large Pakistani diaspora in Saudi Arabia, who continue to play a vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy through their contributions and remittances.
“This initiative is part of our broader effort to ensure that overseas Pakistanis — the true ambassadors of our nation — receive the quality service and respect they deserve,” Dar remarked.

The newly inaugurated one-window setup will enable faster processing of passports and other consular services, reflecting Islamabad’s drive toward modernization, transparency, and ease of access for citizens abroad.
