KUALA LUMPUR, Thursday, July 10, 2025 (WNP): In a diplomatic meeting on the sidelines of the 32nd ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) Ministerial Meeting, Pakistan and Canada reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, with a particular focus on enhancing economic and trade cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held talks with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand in the Malaysian capital, where both sides acknowledged the positive momentum in their bilateral ties and agreed to further deepen economic engagement.
Senator Dar extended a formal invitation to Minister Anand to visit Pakistan, which she graciously accepted, signaling a potential high-level exchange aimed at fostering greater collaboration.
The meeting marked a step forward in Pakistan-Canada relations, emphasizing mutual interest in expanding trade, investment, and diplomatic outreach amid evolving global dynamics.
