Dar received by senior Turkish officials as Pakistan seeks to further strengthen bilateral ties with Türkiye
ISTANBUL, Sunday, August 30, 2026 (WNP): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in Istanbul, Türkiye, for official engagements.
He was received upon arrival by Deputy Chief of Staff for Administration Brig. Gen. Şenol Varol, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Türkiye Dr. Yousaf Junaid, Ambassador Cihad Erginay of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other senior officials of the Turkish government.

The visit is part of Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic engagement with Türkiye and is aimed at further strengthening the close and multifaceted bilateral relationship between the two brotherly countries.
