ISLAMABAD, Thursday, December 25, 2025 (WNP): Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, on Thursday paid rich tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his birth anniversary, describing the founder of Pakistan as a visionary leader whose ideals continue to guide the nation and inspire the wider region.

In a message issued on the auspicious occasion, the Iranian ambassador extended respectful felicitations to the Government and people of Pakistan, honoring Quaid-e-Azam’s historic role in the creation of Pakistan and his lifelong struggle for justice, dignity and the rights of the people.

Ambassador Moghadam said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to the causes of the Islamic Ummah and steadfast dedication to constitutionalism and moral governance remain a source of inspiration for generations in Pakistan and beyond. He noted that Jinnah’s enduring principles of unity, faith and discipline continue to serve as the guiding pillars of Pakistan’s national journey.

Highlighting the significance of December 25, the ambassador said the date symbolizes universal values of peace, tolerance and goodwill, while also marking the birth of Pakistan’s great founding father. He said the occasion serves as a reminder of the principles of harmony, inclusivity and moral leadership that Quaid-e-Azam consistently upheld throughout his political life.

The Iranian envoy said the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam also provides an important opportunity to reaffirm deep respect for his legacy and to reiterate the commitment of Iran to further strengthening bonds of friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between the two neighboring countries.

Concluding his message, Ambassador Moghadam expressed prayers for the continued peace, prosperity and stability of Pakistan, expressing hope that the people of Pakistan will continue to advance along a path guided by the noble vision and timeless principles of their founding leader.
