ISLAMABAD, Tuesday, May 12, 2026 (WNP): Minister of State/Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Media Fahd Haroon on Tuesday met Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and discussed matters of mutual interest, including evolving trends in digital media and prospects for enhanced bilateral cooperation in the communications sector.
The meeting focused on the rapidly changing digital media landscape, emerging communication technologies, and opportunities for collaboration in strengthening information exchange and media engagement between the two brotherly countries.
Both sides noted that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share longstanding fraternal relations rooted in mutual trust and cooperation, which continue to expand across diverse sectors, including media and digital transformation.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of adapting to new media dynamics in an increasingly interconnected and digital world, where strategic communication plays a key role in shaping public understanding and international engagement.
