ISLAMABAD, Saturday, May 9, 2026 (WNP): European Union ambassadors on Saturday marked Europe Day by preparing a symbolic cake using ingredients from across Europe to celebrate unity, diversity and partnership with Pakistan.

In a social media message, the EU mission said the special cake was garnished with the essence of Pakistan-European Union cooperation and the spirit of “Unity in Diversity.”

“Today is Europe Day, and every celebration deserves a cake,” the message said.

The EU diplomats said the initiative reflected shared values and cooperation between Pakistan and the European Union under the theme “Stronger Together.”

The message also highlighted the bloc’s commitment to cultural harmony and collective partnership.
