ISLAMABAD, Friday, October 10, 2025 (WNP): Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan, Dr. Jemal Beker, has expressed deep appreciation for the growing partnership between Pakistan and Ethiopia, following a farewell visit by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar to the Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad.

Calling the minister’s visit a “gesture of respect, brotherhood, and fraternity,” Dr. Beker said it reflected the strong and expanding cooperation between the two countries in key areas including peace and security, climate resilience, aviation, trade, investment, tourism, and culture.

The ambassador thanked the minister for his kind words and recognition of his diplomatic contributions, adding that he was humbled by being referred to as a “True Friend of Pakistan.”

Dr. Beker also expressed gratitude for the announcement that Pakistan Television (PTV) would produce a documentary highlighting his diplomatic tenure, calling it “an honor shared with all who supported the Ethiopian mission in Pakistan.”

“Thank you, Pakistan, for the immense support and friendship,” he said. “The bridges we have built will only grow stronger.”
