ISLAMABAD, Thursday July 17, 2025 (WNP): Member of the Central Executive Committee (Shura) of Dawat-e-Islami, Haji Yafoor Raza Attari on Thursday called on Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and briefed him on the organization’s global humanitarian and religious outreach efforts.

During the meeting, Haji Yafoor Raza presented an overview of various departments of Dawat-e-Islami, with particular focus on the Faizan Global Relief Foundation and its welfare work both in Pakistan and abroad. He also shared updates regarding the organization’s social media initiatives

Highlighting the upcoming 1,500th celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him), the Shura member conveyed that the head of Dawat-e-Islami, Maulana Ilyas Attar Qadri, has urged followers to mark the occasion with exceptional fervor this year. He extended a personal invitation to the Senate Chairman to actively participate in the festivities.

Responding warmly, Chairman Gilani expressed his intent to join the celebrations, saying, “Insha’Allah, this year Eid Milad-un-Nabi will be commemorated with great enthusiasm across Pakistan.” He also offered prayers for the progress and prosperity of the country.

The meeting concluded with Haji Yafoor Raza presenting a set of Dawat-e-Islami publications as a gift to the Senate chairman.
