Global condemnation pours in after Islamabad terror attack

ISLAMABAD, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (WNP): The international community on Tuesday strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack near the G-11 Judicial Complex in Islamabad, which claimed at least 12 lives and left dozens injured.

Expressions of solidarity and sympathy have poured in from around the world, reaffirming global support for Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.

In a statement, the United States expressed its “solidarity with Pakistan in the struggle against terrorism,” extending condolences to the victims’ families and wishing a swift recovery to the injured. “We condemn this attack and all forms of terrorism and remain committed to supporting the Government of Pakistan’s efforts to ensure peace and stability,” the statement said.

The Embassy of Russia in Islamabad also denounced the attack, expressing hope that “those who organized this attack will be identified and brought to justice.” The Russian government extended its “condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.”

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its rejection of “all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability,” extending condolences to the government and people of Pakistan.

The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad conveyed the Kingdom’s “deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences” over the tragic loss of lives, reiterating Riyadh’s “principled and unwavering stance against all forms of terrorism and violence.” The statement added that the Kingdom prays for the speedy recovery of the injured.

In a strongly worded message, Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, condemned the attack as an “inhumane and cowardly act,” calling terrorism “an ominous design of cowardly elements seeking to destabilize the region.” He urged collective efforts among regional countries to eliminate terrorism and extended heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Pakistan.

British Ambassador Jane Marriott said she was “deeply saddened” by the explosion, offering sympathies to the families of the victims and advising British nationals in Pakistan to remain vigilant and follow official travel advice.

Raimundas Karoblis, Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan, also condemned the attack “in the strongest terms,” describing it as a “tragic loss of innocent lives.” He reaffirmed the EU’s “unequivocal condemnation of terrorism in all its forms” and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and the injured.

The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has strongly condemned the suicide attack near the Islamabad District Judicial Complex, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives.

In a statement, the embassy conveyed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those injured in the tragic incident. It reaffirmed China’s solidarity with Pakistan and its continued support in efforts to combat terrorism and maintain peace and stability in the country.

The Australian High Commission in Pakistan has expressed solidarity with the people of Pakistan following the terrorist attack in Islamabad’s G-11 area. In a statement, the mission conveyed condolences to the victims and their families, and extended support to all personnel working to ensure the safety and security of local communities.

“We stand with the people of Pakistan following today’s attack. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all those working to keep communities safe,” the statement said.
