ISLAMABAD, Monday, November 3, 2025 (WNP): Uzbekistan Airways, the national carrier of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has announced a major expansion of its flight operations to Pakistan, doubling its weekly flights from two to four to meet growing passenger demand.

Under the new schedule, effective October 28, 2025, the airline now operates two weekly flights on the Tashkent–Islamabad–Tashkent route (Tuesdays and Saturdays) and two weekly flights on the Tashkent–Lahore–Tashkent route (Wednesdays and Fridays).

According to Uzbekistan Airways, the expansion follows consistently high occupancy rates on previous flights, with seats often sold out days in advance. The increased frequency aims to provide greater convenience, flexibility, and connectivity for travelers between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

Flights between Tashkent and Islamabad take approximately two hours, offering a fast, affordable, and efficient link between the two capitals. One-way fares start from around USD 200, while round-trip tickets are priced from USD 400. The same fares apply to the Lahore route.

All flights are operated using modern aircraft equipped with premium comfort features, professional crew services, and top-tier safety standards.

Tashkent International Airport—Uzbekistan Airways’ main hub—is strategically positioned at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, connecting passengers to over 50 destinations worldwide, including Istanbul, Frankfurt, Paris, London, New York, Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul, and Kuala Lumpur.
