KUALA LUMPUR, Sunday, October 5, 2025 (WNP): Preparations have been finalized in Kuala Lumpur to accord a warm and grand welcome to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, who is arriving in Malaysia on an official visit at the invitation of his Malaysian counterpart, Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The streets of the Malaysian capital have been adorned with the national flags of Pakistan and Malaysia, symbolizing the deep-rooted friendship and shared aspirations of the two brotherly nations.

During the visit, the two prime ministers will hold important meetings focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in key sectors including trade, investment, information technology, the halal industry, education, energy, and the digital economy.

The visit is widely seen as marking the beginning of a new chapter in Pakistan–Malaysia relations, reflecting both nations’ commitment to strengthening their partnership and advancing shared goals of economic growth and regional prosperity.
