Omani bikers receive warm welcome to promote tourism, cultural diplomacy

ISLAMABAD, Friday, June 20, 2025 (WNP): Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political and Public Affairs and Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), Rana Sanaullah, on Friday welcomed a delegation from the Bousher Bikers Club of Oman, terming their visit a key step toward boosting tourism and strengthening cultural ties between Pakistan and Oman.

The warm reception took place during a lunch hosted by the Ministry of IPC at the Guns and Country Club in Islamabad. Rana Sanaullah expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Embassy in Oman and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for facilitating the bikers’ goodwill journey to Pakistan.

“Your presence here marks a meaningful step in promoting tourism and deepening people-to-people connections between our two nations,” he said, assuring the visitors that the Government of Pakistan had made all necessary arrangements to ensure their safety, comfort, and hospitality throughout their stay.

“This visit not only fosters tourism but also strengthens the shared cultural and historical bonds that unite Pakistan and Oman,” he added.

Also speaking at the occasion, Federal Secretary IPC Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani thanked the Omani bikers for choosing Pakistan as their destination and appreciated their interest in exploring the scenic beauty of the country’s northern regions.

“We are delighted to host you, and we believe your journey will help promote sports diplomacy and cultural exchange between our two countries,” he remarked.

Representing the Bousher Bikers Club, Mohammad Al Nabhani expressed excitement about the journey. “We look forward to discovering the natural beauty of Pakistan and engaging with its warm and welcoming people,” he said.

Earlier in the day, the delegation also offered Friday prayers at Faisal Mosque, one of the most iconic landmarks in Islamabad, symbolizing the spiritual and cultural welcome extended to the visitors.

The Bousher Bikers delegation includes Esa Al Hasani, Mohammad Al Nabhani, Kamil Al Wahaibi, Majid Al Rawahi, Muhammad Munaini, Majid Al Wahaibi, and Muhammad Al Rawahi.

The overland goodwill journey from Oman to Pakistan is a visionary initiative supported by the Embassy of Pakistan in Oman and spearheaded by Atif Ali, a Pakistani expatriate in Oman. The journey seeks to foster diplomatic goodwill, cultural understanding, and regional cooperation by connecting both nations through a shared passion for adventure and travel.

By retracing a symbolic route of friendship, the initiative sends a strong message of unity and brotherhood between Pakistan and Oman, paving the way for future cultural and tourism-based collaborations.
