NIZWA, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 (WNP): Students from the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages made a vibrant contribution to Ibham Expo Day in Nizwa, Oman, captivating visitors with a rich display of their country’s traditions, heritage, and hospitality.

Held as a celebration of cultural exchange and international cooperation, the event brought together students from various countries. The Uzbek delegation stood out with its immersive cultural presentation, offering participants a deeper understanding of Uzbekistan’s historical legacy and tourist landmarks.

The Uzbek students engaged guests with detailed narratives about iconic cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, known for their architectural marvels, ancient trade routes, and deep-rooted Islamic and Silk Road heritage. Traditional artifacts, folk patterns, and colorful visuals created an inviting atmosphere at the Uzbekistan booth.

A major highlight of the presentation was the tasting of traditional Uzbek national bread and an assortment of local nuts, which proved to be a crowd favorite. The authentic flavors and aromas offered a sensory journey into the heart of Central Asia, drawing praise and curiosity from both local and international visitors.

Speaking on the occasion, the students emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy in strengthening global ties. “We are proud to represent Uzbekistan and share the warmth, history, and generosity of our people with the world,” said one of the participating students.

Ibham Expo Day served not only as a platform for cultural exhibition but also as a bridge for fostering mutual respect and intercultural understanding. The participation of Uzbekistan’s students highlighted the growing role of youth in advancing cultural dialogue and international goodwill.

Organizers lauded the student-led initiatives and expressed hope that such exchanges would continue to pave the way for stronger educational and diplomatic linkages among nations.
