ISLAMABAD, Sunday, June 7, 2026 (WNP): The Embassy of Türkiye celebrated World Breakfast Day by hosting a traditional Turkish breakfast reception for the spouses of ambassadors from member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), highlighting Türkiye’s rich culinary heritage and culture of hospitality.
The event was hosted by Mrs. Emine Neziroğlu at the Embassy Residence, where guests were treated to an authentic Turkish breakfast featuring a variety of traditional dishes and delicacies.

The gathering brought together the spouses of diplomats representing Turkic and OIC countries, providing an opportunity to strengthen cultural ties and foster friendship through one of Türkiye’s most cherished traditions.
Guests enjoyed a rich and flavorful Turkish breakfast, widely recognized for its diversity and emphasis on fresh, wholesome ingredients. The menu showcased the unique tastes and hospitality that have made Turkish breakfast a celebrated part of the country’s cultural identity.
Marking the occasion, the Turkish Embassy highlighted the significance of World Breakfast Day as a platform to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding among nations through food and shared traditions.
