ISLAMABAD, Monday, October 27, 2025 (WNP): The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Islamabad has said that celebrations marking the 102nd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye have begun with great enthusiasm across brotherly Pakistan, describing the country as “our second home.”

In a statement, the Embassy noted that this year’s Republic Day festivities carry a special meaning in Pakistan, where the warmth of the Türkiye–Pakistan friendship continues to shine ever brighter.

“From Islamabad to Karachi to Lahore, iconic landmarks are illuminated in red and white — the colors of the Turkish flag — symbolizing the eternal bond of fraternity and shared pride between our two nations,” the statement said.

The Embassy expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Pakistan for joining in the celebrations, emphasizing that the Türkiye–Pakistan friendship stands as a living example of mutual respect, brotherhood, and unwavering solidarity.

“These moments speak louder than words — a brotherhood that grows stronger with every heartbeat,” it added.

The statement concluded with a message of unity and affection: “Thank you, brotherly Pakistan. Türk–Pak dosti zindabad!”
