RAWALPINDI, Sunday, December 7, 2025 (WNP/ISPR): Security forces on Saturday conducted a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kalat District, Balochistan, neutralizing 12 terrorists affiliated with Fitna al Hindustan, a network described as an India-sponsored proxy group, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The operation was launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of the militants. During the engagement, security forces effectively targeted the hideout, and after an intense exchange of fire, all 12 terrorists were eliminated.
A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the site. According to ISPR, the militants had been involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region, threatening security and stability.
Following the operation, sanitization efforts are underway to ensure the area is fully cleared and to track down any remaining elements linked to the network.
The statement reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies remain fully committed to a relentless counterterrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan. The campaign aims to eliminate all forms of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
ISPR emphasized that such operations will continue with full resolve until terrorism is completely rooted out.
