GILGIT, Sunday, May 10, 2026 (WNP): A grand ceremony was held at the Martyrs’ Memorial in Gilgit-Baltistan on Sunday to mark one year of the historic victory in Marka-e-Haq (The Battle of Truth).

Caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Yar Muhammad Khan was the chief guest at the ceremony.

The chief guest paid homage at the Martyrs’ Memorial and laid a floral wreath in honour of the martyrs.

Special prayers were also offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs as well as for national security, stability and prosperity.

The ceremony formed part of commemorative events being held in connection with the first anniversary of Bunyan-un-Marsoos.
