Kuala Lumpur, Thursday, November 13, 2025 (WNP): The Malaysia–Pakistan Business Council (MPBC) has engaged a high-level Finnish education delegation as Kajaani University of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with Microsoft Europe, introduced a suite of online professional upskilling programmes in information technology, data sciences, cloud computing, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

During the interaction, the Finnish delegation expressed strong interest in expanding participation from Pakistani students, universities and professional bodies, alongside Malaysian partners. Kajaani University is preparing a formal proposal for MPBC outlining avenues for structured collaboration.

The initiative is expected to create new opportunities to highlight Pakistan’s emerging digital talent, expand bilateral linkages in education and technical training, and strengthen people-to-people and institutional connectivity between Pakistan, Malaysia and Finland.

MPBC has sought support from the Associated Press of Pakistan for wider media coverage to ensure that these prospects reach relevant audiences in Pakistan.

Key MPBC office-bearers involved in the engagement include Patron-in-Chief Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazir Meraslam, Chairman Datuk Amin, Secretary Hyder Ali and Tourism Committee Lead Mr. Rafiq, who facilitated the meeting.
