ISLAMABAD, Wednesday, June 25, 2025 (WNP): British High Commissioner to Pakistan Jane Marriott held a meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Aseefa Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House in Islamabad on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations, with a particular focus on enhancing trade cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.

The discussion also touched on regional security developments, including recent Indian aggression, and Chairman Bilawal’s visit to London in its aftermath. High Commissioner Marriott praised Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s visit to the UK, describing it as constructive and timely.

PPP leader and Member of the National Assembly Hina Rabbani Khar was also present during the meeting.
